They are are Irene Sbroggi\u00f2 and Elisa Favaretto from \u201clista Passepartout\u201d, Tullio Furlani and Alessandro Bonifacio from \u201clista Agnello\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They let us know that the collapse of part of \u00a0the ground floor\u00a0ceiling tiles \u00a0\u00a0is not so worrying, because it was caused by a worker\u2019s mistake: the school hall is still safe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They announced a sit-in and a meeting which also teachers are invited to join and a students\u2019 demonstration for Wednesday 14th November.<br \/>\nThey told us that \u00a0taking part in the protest\u00a0is very important\u00a0because \u00a0the standards of the Italian School are going to be threatened by the\u00a0Minister of\u00a0Education (MIUR) austerity policies. Even the teachers\u2019 working hours might be increased\u00a0 from eighteen to twenty-four without any pay rise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They told us that we might have one more week of holiday at Christmas to save on heating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They said that the charity initiatives called \u201cBrunosolidale project\u201d will be carried out to help local people, for example serving in Ca&#8217;Letizia soup kitchen.<br \/>\nThen the newly appointed representatives of the \u201cConsulta\u201d, Francesco Franz and Tommaso Tagliapietra asked us if we had any problems to report to the Provincia authority.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Marco Marangon 3A On Monday 12th November a school meeting took place at every hour in the school gym of the \u201cGiordano Bruno\u201d Secondary School of Mestre-Venice.The third year students attended from 10:10 a.m. to 11:05 a.m (the 3rd class).
