Will you join in the discussion?<\/p>\n<p>Details about the partnership below.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>MOM 2008-2010<\/em><\/strong>, Media on the Move, funded by the Comenius Programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Partners: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>North Karelia College Outokumpu, Radio and TV department and Graphic Design Department, Finland<\/li>\n<li>Liceo Scientifico Statale &#8220;Giordano Bruno&#8221;, Venezia-Mestre, Italy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Objectives <\/strong>of the project are: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Improving intercultural dialogue between two European countries far apart, both geographically and linguistically, through the use of English.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Enhancing students\u2019 creativity and innovation through media education; stimulating curiosity for and awareness of minority languages and civilizations (Italian and Finnish). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">widening the perspective of education about<span> <\/span>media and<span> <\/span>culture.<\/span><span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Methodology:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">communicating and team-teaching, designing, information collecting and interpreting, problem solving through peer education.<span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><strong>Activities:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Designing and executing media workshops around the theme &#8220;Beauty in the Eye of Beholder&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>The workshops will include visits both ways; Finnish students travelling to Venezia-Mestre to hold work shops in the Liceo Giordano Bruno and do projects together with Italian students.
