She was the first female Prime Minister in the history of her country , where there is a long tradition of queens.<br \/>\nAfter a long illness, she\u00a0 died at the age of 87, on the 8th of April 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Margaret didn&#8217;t want a state funeral. However, Queen Elizabeth is going to attend the ceremony, which will be held in St.Paul\u2019s Cathedral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs Thatcher had two nicknames: the first was, Maggie; the second &#8220;the Iron Lady&#8221;, which described her tough way of governing the United Kingdom.<br \/>\nRecently, the American actress Meryl Streep played Mrs Thatcher in a film with this title.<br \/>\nMargaret was loved by a large part of the British. At the same time she was also hated by the working\u00a0 class and other people who believed that she defended the rights of the rich only.<br \/>\nMargaret Thatcher, the mother of two, was married to a man who supported her.
