Tokyo (<span class=\"st\">\u6771\u4eac<\/span>) is Japan\u2019s capital city. It replaced Kyoto\u00a0(<span class=\"st\">\u4eac\u90fd\u5e02<\/span>) in 1868. I went to both cities. On my middle school to trip I also visited Nara (<span class=\"st\">\u5948\u826f\u5e02<\/span>), I was only 12 years old, but I remember a lot. Kyoto\u00a0(<span class=\"st\">\u4eac\u90fd\u5e02<\/span>) and Nara (<span class=\"st\">\u5948\u826f\u5e02<\/span>) were Japan\u2019s imperial capital cities. First , Nara, next Kyoto (<span class=\"st\">\u4eac\u90fd\u5e02<\/span>), which was the imperial capital for over one thousand years. Nara\u00a0(<span class=\"st\">\u5948\u826f\u5e02<\/span>) has many temples for Bukkyo (\u4ecf\u6559 &#8211; the teaching of Buddha). For example Horyuji (<span class=\"st\">\u6cd5\u9686\u5bfa<\/span>) or Todaiji (\u6771\u5927\u5bfa), which are very famous temples. Horyuji (<span class=\"st\">\u6cd5\u9686\u5bfa<\/span>) is the oldest temple in Japan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.horyuji.or.jp\/horyuji_e.htm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4857\" src=\"https:\/\/old.istitutobrunofranchetti.edu.it\/giornalino\/wp-content\/Horyuji_Temple.jpg\" alt=\"Horyuji Temple\" width=\"243\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kyoto\u2019s buildings are for Shinto (\u795e\u9053 &#8211; ways of the gods), a Japanese religion incorporating the worship of ancestors and nature spirits and a belief in sacred power in both animate and inanimate things. A fine example is Kiyomizu Dera (<span class=\"st\">\u6e05\u6c34\u5bfa<\/span>). This temple has a very big stage, for Japanese typical dance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4859\" src=\"https:\/\/old.istitutobrunofranchetti.edu.it\/giornalino\/wp-content\/kyoto-japan-dance-of-the-dragon.jpg\" alt=\"kyoto - dance\" width=\"336\" height=\"282\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MODERN JAPAN<\/strong><br \/>\nNow Tokyo (<span class=\"st\">\u6771\u4eac<\/span>) is Japan\u2019s capital city. I went there when I left Japan last summer. I used Narita airport <span class=\"st\">(\u6210\u7530\u56fd\u969b\u7a7a\u6e2f<\/span>). This is the biggest airport in Japan. It has 3 terminals so me and my friend were lost. But this is a very nice place. If you use Narita airport, you can eat many Japanese foods. For example Sushi (<span class=\"st\">\u5bff\u53f8<\/span>), Tenpura (<span class=\"st\">\u5929\u9ea9\u7f85<\/span>), Wagashi (<span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"ja\" xml:lang=\"ja\">\u548c\u83d3\u5b50<\/span> &#8211; a Japanese dessert) and try Sake (\u9152), a Japanese rice wine. But be careful, in Japan you can drink alcohol only if you are at least 20 years old.<br \/>\nTokyo\u00a0(<span class=\"st\">\u6771\u4eac<\/span>) has many famous places, Sky Tree (<span class=\"st\">\u6771\u4eac\u30b9\u30ab\u30a4\u30c4\u30ea\u30fc<\/span> The tallest tower in Japan), a hotel called Asakusa Kaminari-Mon (\u96f7\u9580 &#8211; The Gate Hotel).
