Biennale 2015 was the 56th Venice exhibition. It was about the world’s future. My classmates and I were impressed by the pavilions we saw.We would like to thank our teachers and Principal for the wonderful opportunity.
Korea
In the Korean pavilion you could see a young girl who loved technology so much but she didn’t have any time for any friends.
Israel
Outside Israel’s pavilion, there were a lot of tyres and inside there was a lot of trash.
They represent the worries, fear and poverty of Palestinian people.
Japan
In the Japanese pavilion there were a lot of keys with red threads.
The keys represent our memories, we give our keys (memory) only to a person who loves us.
Russia
In the Russian pavilion there was a big gas mask which represents heavy smog polluting the world.
France
In the French pavilion there were some walking trees, and the trees, which were real trees, represent the unnatural side of our actions.
Belgium
In the Belgian pavilion there was a big robot and a video was on showing some singers from Belgium‘s colonies who sang in French.
Greece
In the Greek pavilion there were a lot of photographs and animal skins.
They want to warn us that human beings are destroying the animal world.
Rocking sofas
by Francesco Tiepolo
The French pavilion symbolized (symbolizes) the exploitation of nature by human technology. Inside the pavilion there was a tree that, while moving, made a strange sound. In the nearby 2 rooms, there were 2 foam sofas that looked as if they were rocking. This shows that man is able to control nature exploiting it in his favour.
