The new music project of the school began three years ago, in 2010, from an idea of Mrs Enrica Semenzato with the collaboration of two music teachers, Ms Anna D’Errico and Ms Michela Caser. It can be joined by any person (students, staff…) who is interested in music, dance, video, creative writing, reading and speaking because it is a polyvalent activity.
I joined the project this year, my second year, because I have played music for a long time: keyboards and drums, and I realized that it would be an interesting but also challenging activity.
Our team has always been very close and busy. We worked hard from the very beginning. The activity was held once a week from October to April, but, when the performance was close, we sometimes met twice a week.
We were terribly hurried and under pressure during the last few weeks before the concert because it was still unfinished and the deadline was earlier than we had planned, but in the end we managed to be well-prepared and our diligence was rewarded.
All over the year we established beautiful friendships, we had fun in the team but we also had serious moments of work that resulted in the good show we performed at the Province Auditorium on the 24th of April.
This was maybe the strongest point of the project and also for this I am firmly convinced to keep up the music project also next year.
